Amivar 500 is APILAB's latest development. It consists of an evolution of the traditional Amivar. Its new presentation consists of acaricide strips made of plastic polymers. This new formulation allows doing treatments in populated beehives and in a period of time were beehives show major activity.

Dosage and application

Beehives: Place two strips inside the brood chamber.
1st strip between frames 3-4
2nd strip between frames 7-8
Nucleus: Place only one strip between frames 2-3

Its formulation made of plastic polymers provides enough strength to continue within beehives for time required to obtain an effective control. Likewise, Flumevar is ideal to use as a treatment in springtime due to lower amount of residues in beehive products.
